It has been a long winter in Chicago...and I have put a lot of hours on the Real Flight Deluxe Simulator.  I can’t say enough how much this little gem of a program will help you learn new stuff. It is well worth the price...and thanks to the release of the G2 version the older version is dropping in price. I run mine on a laptop and it is incapable of running the G2 (be sure to check your systems requirements...these programs suck a lot of power)so the original Real Flight will have to do for me. I have used both and the difference in how they fly is not much...most of the difference is in the bells and whistles(very nice whistles though). Keep in mind that the program will not teach you how to finesse your model, but rather it will help you in learning to push the sticks in the right direction.

Also over the winter I have installed a Futaba GV-1 Governor. I have only one flight so far with this device and that was only hovering so as it warms up in Chicago I will let you know my experiences with that....I am sure it will be good.
